Winston County Smith Lake Advocacy Group holding Public Meeting in Double Springs on April 9

Please join the Winston County Smith Lake Advocacy, Inc at a public meeting on April 9th.
The meeting will be held at the Bernice Hilton Walker Building (Traders & Farmers Bank) in Double Springs and will begin at 6:30 PM.
At this meeting, the Lake group will elect officers and board of directors, highlight past lake clean-ups and plan the spring clean-up; Alabama Power Company will report on the removal of styrofoam from Smith Lake; and Alabama Water Watch will report on a recent Bacteria Blitz water quality monitoring effort that took place in Winston County.
